How to book sub contractor operatives onto jobs

In this video we're going to look at how we can book subcontractor operatives onto our jobs. In the previous video we set up a subcontractor and we added some operative users onto that subcontractor account. Now we're gonna look at how we can book some of these operatives onto one of our jobs. Let's go to our list of jobs here it is. We just have a test job at the top here so I'm gonna click into my job.

I've deliberately put a tag on this job which I've called subcontract works, which I know that none of my employed operatives have. The reason for that is so that TeamPoint doesn't suggest using any of my employed operatives when we're trying to schedule the job. Let's have a quick look at that, if I go into scheduling, normally I would expect to find my list of operatives to book onto the job down here and it's not showing me any. The reason is because I'm trying to match tags on the operatives to tags on the jobs and none of my operatives have the subcontractor tag. iIf I unchecked this it's actually now showing me all of my operatives and if I put some days onto the job, if I wanted to I could book any one of my employed operatives onto the job. But really we want someone who's got the right tags so the other option we have is to show subcontractor operatives as well. If I click here I can now see the three subcontractor operative users that we've set up and we can even see the company that they work for. We could for instance show all operatives but here we want to match the tags and so it's only showing me my subcontractors. To book them on the job it's very simple, the same as we would book anybody else, we literally click on the days we want them to attend. We can book them in for the whole week if we want to we could book the other ones in. This is just normal scheduling like we would do with an employed operative but here we're using subcontractor operatives.
