In this video we're going to look at the simplest way to schedule a job in Teampoint. There are lots of different ways of scheduling jobs in Teampoint, including a calendar based scheduling and various map based scheduling tools, but we're just gonna look at the quickest, simplest way to schedule a job.

The first thing we need to do is to find a job, so I'm gonna click on my unscheduled jobs due in the next 14 days. I'm just going to click there to see the list of jobs and I'm going to click into this first job and schedule it. I click into the job, I choose the scheduling tab and this is where I can schedule my job.

The first thing I need to do to decide the day that I want to schedule, it can be multiple days, we'll just do one day in this example. I want to schedule this for tomorrow, I want to schedule from the 8th until the 8th, we just add those days onto the job. Now we add technicians onto the job, just by putting ticks in the boxes. I can tick here and here and here and that would add these three operatives onto the job. Let me just untick them. By default it matches operatives that have the correct skill set, so this matches job tags, if we want to see all of our operatives we can untick this and we get the list of everybody. So to begin with it's just showing us the people who are capable of servicing this job.

Let's just quickly search for an operative okay, this is my test user, so I'm going to choose this one. So in order to schedule this job, we choose the date we add a day, we then tick to say which operative is attending, we can optionally add a start time in a duration. Let's add a start time of 10:00 and a duration of 60 minutes. We then select save and dispatch over here, which is going to allocate this job to our technician, Severn Solutions in this case at 10:00 on Wednesday morning for a duration of 60 minutes.

Save and dispatch and we're all done
